Nepean Hospital: A Tower of Clinical Excellence

AW Signs are celebrating a win out west! We’re heading to Nepean Hospital near the foothills of the Blue Mountains, to deliver 14 floors of signage as part of the $576 million Stage 1 Redevelopment.

We are delighted to have been selected by CIMIC Group’s CPB Contractors in partnership with Health Infrastructure NSW, BVN Architecture and Urbanite (Part of the Frost* collective) to put our significant sign manufacturing experience to work.

This project comprises of more than 1,800 signs and 4,000 asset tags for an expanded Emergency Department, 18 birthing suites, a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, 16 operating theatres and 200 additional beds across 14 floors.

Signs include identification (building, precinct, internal, rooms and beds), directional (vehicular, pedestrian, directory, department, lifts and the main entrance) and operational (statutory, amenities, hearing loop and asset tags).

This exciting project is part of the Nepean Redevelopment which will deliver expanded and contemporary health services and integrated community health facilities for the residents of the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District.
