AW Signs selected as signage partner for $48 million Barton Park upgrade

AW Signs are delighted to be working with Ford Civil on the Barton Park Recreational Precinct Upgrade Project; a multi-million dollar investment providing a welcoming space with accessible facilities, good lighting, walking and cycling connections to open space along the Rockdale Wetlands Corridor. 

As the signage contractor for the upgrade, AW Signs were appointed to fabricate and install a range of signage throughout the completely transformed parklands, consisting of three full-size soccer fields, a half-size soccer field, four tennis courts, two multi-courts, a cycleway, walking tracks, several clubhouses and amenities - including a new grandstand with tiered seating - as well as parking for 250 vehicles.

With the project designed by Mode, the scope of works included a stunning, hand-fabricated 2.6m orientation sign featuring Enduralox® as the mapping component. The use of Enduralox® not only ensures high-resolution printing on aluminium but the ability to withstand the rigours of the Australian climate.
